Erie Canal Trail: We rode the Erie Canal Trail from Spencerport to Palmyra NY. This took us all the way through the large city of Rochester. Through Rochester the trail was paved. On either end the surface consisted of finely crushed rock. The crushed rock surface was better than we thought it would be and was easily ridden on with 25 cm tires. This section is in the heart of Rochester.
